Ida Isabelle Hodgson (Wood)
October 4, 1929 – January 16, 2020
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Mitchell Nursing Home. Born in London, Ontario, she is the last surviving of 6 children of Clarence and Minnie Wood. She is survived by her children Kathie Murphy, Ruth and Randy Binkle, Jim and Linda Hodgson, Carolynn Pryde, Marmie and Jamie Stewart. Grandmother of Julie (Eddie), Michael (Angelica), Andrew, Leeanne (Robert), Jonathan (Jessica), Joe, Tim (Leanne), Matt (Melissa), Emily, Terrilynn (Fred), Jennifer (Brandon), Rob (Allison). Great grandmother of 19 and great great grandmother of 2. Predeceased by her husband Franklin (1988), daughter Rebecca (2017), sons Terry (1969), Bill (2008), sons-in-law Winston (2003), Tom (2009) and by a granddaughter Christina (2009).
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, January 17, from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. A family interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London.
