Nov. 14, 1922 – Jan. 3, 2020 Age 97 years
Born Westward Ho, Alberta to Frank & Mable Watson. Married Tom (Bud) Hanna at Sylvan Lake, Alta. Oct. 27, 1945.
Survived by Tom (Gail), Jerry (Victoria) & Nancy (Ken); Grandchildren: Dianna (Brian), Todd (Cheryl), Darleen (Peter), Penny (Shaun), David (Jaylene) & Callie. Eight great grandchildren & one great-great grandchild. Sister Zanda (Walter) & sister-in-law Grace and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by husband Bud in 2006, brothers Richard (Dick), John, Stuart & sister Alice.
Mom signed up with the RCAF 1942 – 1945. Farmed in Evarts, Ab. 1945 – 1960. Moved to Blue River, B.C. Christmas 1960 building & operating a motel & service station until 1990, moving to Armstrong in 1980. They then spent their time travelling North America, Holland & England. They spent their summers in Blue River for many years.
Mom was very active members of the Royal Canadian Legion from 1956 – 2019, & also the RCAF Squadron 438 from 1980 – 2006.
