Obituary
Hilary Colleen Jill Carr (Alexander) passed away peacefully December the 28th, 2019, at the age of 83. Born in Kings Lynn, UK, November 17th, 1936, Colleen (Col … as she was known) grew up with her family, including 3 brothers and sister (Duncan, Terry, Anthea, Morley) in Reading, before emigrating to Montreal, Canada. Colleen is survived by her sons, Angus Stuart and David, and her brothers Terry, Morley and sister Anthea, as well as her grandchildren Rachel, Sean, Ayla and Maelle. Colleen was a long-time resident of Coquitlam, in the Ranch Park neighbourhood, where she enjoyed the companionship of many dear friends and neighbours. Her loving nature, vivacity and British sense of humour was appreciated by all who knew her. We will miss you dearly, and that humour! Colleen loved to travel and loved nature, enjoyed great food (and some desserts …) and most of all, socializing with her many friends. She was a wonderful mother, who would always sacrifice herself and her time for her family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of BC would be appreciated.
