It is with great sadness that the family of the late Herbert Wilton announce his passing on Saturday, July 11th, 2020 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 90 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Mary (nee Park); sons, Gary (Denise) and Wayne (Sharon); grandchildren: Meghan, Bradley, Melissa, Stephen and Mark Wilton, step-grandson Mickey Boyd; great grandchildren: Sophia and Kason; daughter’s-in-law, Daphne and Gail; brothers and sisters-in-law: Albert Park (Ruby), Priscilla Serrick (Van), Ruby Park, Lome Park, Elvis (Joan) Park, Vanessa Smith (Ronald) and Kara Park; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his son Mick Wilton, 2018, daughter-in-law Wendy Wilton, 2011, parents, Wallace and Susan, brothers: Raymond (Sylvia) Wilton, Murdoch Wilton; sisters: Olive Galliott (Tom), Catherine Williams (Bill) and Isabelle Hollohan (William).
Due to Covid-19 Government restrictions, there will be a private family viewing on Tuesday, July 14th, followed by a private funeral service from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 15th, with Reverend Allice Moores officiating, with interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
