Henry (Harry)’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Henry (Harry) William Hynes announce his peaceful passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care on Friday, October 30, 2020, at the age of 95 years. He leaves to mourn with fond loving memories his son: David (Surong) Hynes; his three daughters: Patricia (Wayne) Jones, Wendy (Craig) Taite, Kim (Jeff) Boutcher; his grandchildren: Mark (Beth), Neil (Tara), Michael, Karen, Natasha, Justin, Joanne (Chase), Brent (Jessica), and Devin (Jessica); his great-grandchildren: Caden, Maicy, Carys, Benjamin, and Emmett; his sister: Annie Griffin and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Harry was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy and his second wife, Jennie; his parents: Curtis & Gertrude Hynes; his sisters: Muriel, Ruby; and brother: George. A private viewing and funeral service will take place from Curling Memorial United Church, Curling St. with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations in memory of Harry can be made to Curling Memorial United Church Fund. The family would like to extend a thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of 3 North, Corner Brook Long Term Care for the compassion and care that Harry received during his residency at the facility.
