Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Monday, December 28, 2020, at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Laurette (Constant) MacKinnon and cherished father of Deborah Lee (Robert), Craig MacKinnon (Kathy) and the late Michael MacKinnon. Dear grandfather of Brandon (Kathleen), Andrew and Michael Jr. and great grandfather to Avery. Hector is survived by his siblings Michael, Patsy, Sandra, Terry, Maureen, Linda and Jake and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Georgina and Hector MacKinnon Sr. and by brothers Wayne and Kenneth.
A private family service will take place at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville with interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in May 2021.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society Lanark Leeds Grenville or the Brockville and District Hospital Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
