Hector Dionne
1938-2020
Hector Dionne, 82, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, Surrounded
by his family, on Friday October 23, 2020 at the UHC Dr Georges-L.
Dumont, Moncton. He was married to Alberta (Bastarache) Dionne. Born
in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Eric and the late
Béatrice (Léger) Dionne.
Hector was a man of tender heart and simplicity. He was a handyman who
liked to undertake several projects. He loved being surrounded by his
family and enjoyed spending time at the cottage with his children and
grandchildren, whom he loved. He enjoyed bowling and especially his
Thursday night card games with his friends. He also loved to travel
with his wife. Generous, Hector enjoyed volunteering time in his
community and was a member of the Lions Club for several years.
Hector will be sadly missed by his wife Alberta, his two sons; Jules
of Fredericton and Eric (Sophie) of Moncton, his four grandchildren;
Amélie, Audrey, Adele and Alexandre. He also leaves to mourn his
four sisters; Yvette LeBlanc (Aurèle), Sr Annette Dionne ndsc, Sr
Jeannita Dionne ndsc, Marie-Paule Bourque (Louis), one brother;
Evariste (Margo) all of Dieppe, as well as several nephews, nieces and
friends.
Hector has left us to go join his parents, his two sisters that died
at birth and his brother Aldéric with whom he will watch over
us.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be private visitation and a
private funeral Mass at a later date. Interment will be in the parish
cemetery.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of CHU Dumont
Hospital for the good care provided. In memory of Hector, in lieu of
flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or palliative care
at CHU Dumont Hospital would be appreciated.

Home, Bouctouche.
