CELIA (CARLEY) HARKER, passed away peacefully May 16th, 2020.
Celia was born in Lloydminster, SK in 1939. After her father returned home from WWII they moved to Edmonton where she attended U of A for Biology. Here she met her soon to be husband George, they were married in the summer of 1961. Celia dedicated her life to raising their five sons and serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to garden, to sew, and was a master quilter.
Celia was predeceased by her parents Cecil Henry Carley and Mildred (Quehl) Carley, her husband George Harker, and her brother Roger Carley. She is survived by her sister Susan (Brian) Hall. Celia leaves behind her five sons Zane, Quinn (Kristen), Nathan, Cory (Kristin), and Levi (Becky).
There will be a viewing for friends and relatives at SALMON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, Friday May 22, 2020 from 7:00 to 8:00pm, please wait in your vehicle until a staff member comes to get you, also please wear a mask if possible. Hand sanitizer will be provided.
A small family Graveside Service will be held the following day in Magrath.
