Gurdeep Singh Saini: March 15, 1954 – December 23, 2020
Gurdeep left us on December 23rd at 6:40am. He was 66 years old.
Death was caused by a stroke-causing brain haemorrhage, which occurred on November 30, 2020
Known for his love of science, space, and good food, Gurdeep made his mark in every area of life. An accomplished Power Engineer, his career spanned 45 years in various innovative and challenging roles, taking him away from his birthplace of Gurdaspur, Punjab, India in 2001 and bringing him to Sudbury in 2005.
Loving husband of Indu Saini, cherished father of Sherry Saini, beloved brother of Tejinder Saini (spouse Daljeet Saini), Manjinder Saini and Bandana Saini (sis). Gurdeep is also survived by loving nephews Alok Saini and Vikram Saini.
Funeral Ritual will be held at Park Lawn Crematorium, 379 Horobin Street, Sudbury, on Thursday, December 24th, 2020 at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the HSN Cardiac Unit would be appreciated. Friends may gather at the crematorium after 9:45am Thursday.
