Obituary
It is with great sadness that we, the family of Gordon Powers, announce his passing on November 14, 2020 in Hinton, AB at the age of 85. Our loss was sudden and profound, even though we knew he was tired and ready. Those that knew Gordon know he had 2 sides, he could be grumpy and then loving and giving. His children will fondly remember their outdoor adventures with him, the camping, boat rides, winter tree hunting, tube rides & quading, as he truly had a love for fun.
Gordon will be remembered always by his children Kim (Shawn), Michael (Sherry), Linda (Mike), Julie (Rob) and special friend Lloyd (Faith), along with 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many friends and relatives.
At Gordon’s request there will be no Service, but in the spring the family will join together privately and scatter his ashes.
