Gloria’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts the family of the late Gloria Dicks announce her passing at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center in St. John’s, NL. on Thursday December 10th, 2020 at the age of 72. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her three children; Natalie, William (Rebecca) and Stephanie (Floyd). 6 brothers; Lloyd (Bella), Guy (Hughena), Roy (Edith), Clifford (Glynis), Ellis (Flora) and Todd. 2 sisters; Karen (Eugene) and Piney (Louis). 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also left to mourn is a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Gloria was predeceased by her husband William Dicks, parents; William and Leona Pittman, 3 brothers; Morris, Westley and Obediah Pitman.
The family will be receiving family and friends at the Pentecostal Church in Sop’s Arm on Monday December 14th, 2020 from the hours of 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Also where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday December 15th, 2020 at 2pm. with Pastor Seabright officiating. Internment will follow at the family plot in the Pentecostal Cemetery in Sop’s Arm.
