It is with great sadness that the family of Glen Dawson Conrad, 72, of Riverview Enhanced Living, Dayspring, announces his passing on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in Lunenburg, he was the son of the late Collon and Evangeline (Knickle) Conrad.
Glen was a resident of Riverview Enhanced Living for many years and enjoyed for as long as his mobility allowed being a part of the Lahave Lites program, which stands for, Independence Through Everyday Skills, where he will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Thank you to every single member of the Riverview family who took care of Glen, befriended him and appreciated him for who he was. We, his family, appreciate all of you!
He is survived by his sisters in-law; Mary Conrad, Debert, Rosalean (Shawn) Conrad-Skinner, Bridgewater; nieces, Wendy (Brad) Stewart, Timberlea, Krista Conrad-Whynot (Trevor), Debert, Trudy (Al) DeMone, Tanners Settlement, Amanda (Blair) Conrad; Heckman’s Island, nephew, Ryan (Tania) Conrad, New Germany, as well as several great nieces and nephews and a great great niece and nephew! Our family is small, but the circle of love around him wide.
Glen was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Gilbert and Gregory and David in infancy.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy.#3, Lunenburg. A grave-side service and interment will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Sunny Valley Cemetery, Rev. Rick Pryce, officiating with a service at a later date to be shared with his Riverview family.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Riverview Enhanced Living, Dayspring.
