On Tuesday, June 23, 2020 Germaine Crumback passed away peacefully with her family by her side at 91 years of age.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Florence (Michael) Collins, Robert (Marlene), Lorraine (Dave) Engberg, Yvette (Bill) Fowler, Dan (Dawne), Remi (Brenda), Michelle (Michael) Hall and Len; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Ray (Judy) Cloutier and sister, Rita Sale as well as numerous family and friends.
Germaine was predeceased by her first husband, Lionel Roy and second husband, Lloyd Crumback; son, Richard and 11 siblings.
Germaine was an outstanding mother, who, with personal strength and grace, overcame many life challenges. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and will be dearly missed. Germaine is remembered by all for her outstanding devotion to family and her unshakeable devotion to the Lord. She raised 9 children with selflessness and determination. She particularly loved to prepare for those special times, like Christmas and did so with great artistic flair. Germaine always made family her utmost priority. Her iron will, humility, and commitment to God will always be remembered.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2020 at Connelly-McKinley, St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Germaine’s name to Youville Home, 9A St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert, AB, T8N 1K1.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Youville Home for the outstanding care and compassion extended to Germaine during her time there.
