With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gerard at the age of 67. Gerry will be missed by his wife Nancy (nee Hillyer), his two sons Lucas (Jessica) and Colin (Jenna) his step children, Michael (Elizabeth), Steven (Sarah) and Benjamin (Jennifer).
He was adored by his grandchildren, Sophia, Maxim, Aubrie, Georgia, Sydney and Ellie. He will be missed by many family and friends.
Gerry was born in Lansdowne but raised and lived his entire life in Kingston. He worked at Queen’s University as a Custodian for Physical Plant Services for 30 years, often leading the set up and services for Convocation and other events at Grant Hall.
In keeping with Gerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a visitation held at the James Reid Funeral Home Reception Centre on Saturday November 28th, 2020 from 1-4pm. There is limited space for the visitation and booking a time slot is mandatory since only small groups will be allowed at a time, to ensure a safe visit. Please park in the rear parking lot and enter through the reception centre.
