Gary Quinlan
1947-2020
Gary Gleyson Quinlan, 72 of River Glade, passed
away Friday, June 12, 2020 at the Jordan LifeCare Centre following a
lengthy illness.
Born in Stoney Island, NS, he was the son of Betty
(Ross) Quinlan and the late Leslie Quinlan. Gary was retired
from Atlantic Canvas and Textiles where he worked for over 40 years.
Besides his family, his life passions were hunting, fishing,
four-wheeling, NASCAR, spending time with his brothers at the camp and
long drives in the country.
Survived and sadly missed by his mother
Betty; his daughters Roxanne Abbott of River Glade and Carmen Quinlan
of Petitcodiac; his only grandchild Hunter, who he cherished beyond
words; brother Byron Quinlan (Marla) of Gallagher Ridge; special niece
Ann-Marie Taylor of River Glade; sister-in-law Shirley Quinlan of
Salisbury; his loyal sidekick River and several nieces and
nephews. He was predeceased by his father Leslie Quinlan;
brother Charlie Quinlan; sister-in-law Cathy Quinlan and his soul mate
Beau Dog.
We would like to thank the staff of the Jordan
LifeCare Centre for their kindness, support and for all they
do.
Due to covid-19 restrictions, a private family
service will be held at the Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800).
Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery.
If desired, donations to the Jordan LifeCare
Centre or Pine Hill Cemetery would be appreciated by the
family.
