Obituary
It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Long time Barrhead area resident Frank Kristel.
Frank was born in Bloomsbury July 22, 1932 and predeceased by his parents Frank Sr. and Genoveva, brothers Emil and Eric, sisters Augustina and Hilda and daughter Phyllis. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Elfrieda, son Tim Kristel (Teresa), grandchildren Braden Koster, Jennifer Kristel, great grandchild Phillip Koster and sisters Freda Hanson and Esther Perpar as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank would be remembered as an avid farmers market vendor. He served on the Barrhead fire department for 17 years and was an automotive mechanic most of his life. In his last years he enjoyed gardening and his grandchildren.
A private family memorial will be held at a future date.
