It is with sadness we announce that Enrico (Rick) Silvestri passed away June 2020, with his wife at his side. He was 73.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth; sons: David (Andrea), Daniel (KaraLee) and Douglas (Brittany); grandchildren: Connor, Jacob, Kristian, Zachary, Isabelle.
Enrico was predeceased by his father, Alfeo; mother, Alfonsina; and brother, Walter
A longtime resident of Peace River Alberta and the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, Enrico immigrated to Canada from Italy at a young age. He was a person that always loved spending time with his family and especially helping others whenever needed. A proud member of the Knights of Columbus, he loved fishing and woodworking.
A small Funeral Liturgy will be held on July 4th, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.at Connelly-McKinley in St. Albert.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Canadian Lung Association.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Sturgeon Hospital and Alberta Home Care Services. Your care and support for Enrico will always be remembered.
