Elizabeth « Betty » Chamberlain
Elizabeth
« Betty » J. Chamberlain, 86, of Lutes Mountain, went to meet
her Lord, on Monday, December 14, 2020.
Born in
Fairfield, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Frances
(Armstrong) Weston.
Betty was a
retired cook at the CN Hump Yard and the Palace Grill and attended
Truth Tabernacle Moncton. Betty loved cooking, her church, a hot cup
of tea, tending to her flowers, hosting many gatherings and most
importantly, caring for her home and her
family.
Betty will be
sadly missed by her husband, Gerald of Lutes Mountain; daughters, Faye
Henry (Terry) and Nadine Murray (Gordon); stepsons, David Chamberlain
(Ruth) and Glen Chamberlain (Alice); grandchildren, Shonda, Trevor,
Dustin, Darcy, Vicki; several step grandchildren; nine great
grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; brother, Arnold Weston
and several nieces, nephews and extended family members and feline
friend, « Mable ». She will be sadly missed, and lovingly
remembered.
In addition to
her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Clarence Weir;
second husband, Alvin Chamberlain; two sisters and eight
brothers.
Visitation at
Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on
Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honor
Betty’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel
on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in
Hillside Cemetery. COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing
guidelines will be followed and face coverings must be worn at all
times.
