Obituary of Edith Ann Weston
With grace and dignity Edith Ann Weston (Cummings) on January 11, 2020 has reunited with her beloved parents Laura and Melville (Cummings) and pets Muffin, Rusty, Daisy and Patch. She leaves behind her one and only true love and soul mate of 64 years, Bruce. Left with cherished memories are her children and their spouses Elizabeth, Leonard, Shane, Dawn, Lisa and Dale. Treasured dearly by grandchildren Amanda (Weston), Shawn (Weston) Robyn and Tyler(Holmes), Tim (Rath), Kyle (Rath) and great grandchildren Hallie, Brooklynn, Peyton and Lennon. She will be sadly missed by dear friends Marleen and Graham, Joyce and Glen and other nursing alumni of the Brockville General Hospital class of 58. She can now walk or run to the eternal happy hour in the sky with no pain.
Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street E, Brockville on Thursday January 16, from 6-9 p.m. and on Friday January 17, 2020 from 10-10:45 a.m. The Celebration of Edith’s Life will then be held in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edith’s memory can be made to Christ United Church, Lyn would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
