Edith’s Obituary
Foster, Edith-age 91, Roseway Manor, formerly of Shelburne, passed away suddenly on October 17, 2020 in Roseway Manor. Born on March 19, 1929 she was a daughter of the late Frank A and Ellen “Blanche” Foster. Edith worked as a cook her entire working career at Roseway Hospital and Roseway Manor until her retirement. In her younger years, Edith enjoyed bowling, card games and bingo. She loved visits from family and friends while living at the Manor. Edith was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Edith is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews. Aside from her parents, Edith was predeceased by her brother Cal, sister Hilda, niece Sheila Boutilier, nephew-in-law, Paul Boutilier; nephews Victor and Edward Nickerson. Visitation will take place on Wednesday evening, October 21 from 6-8 p.m. in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Chapel, Shelburne, where the Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, October 22 at 2:00p.m. with Rev. Ed Trevors officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery.
