Obituary of Dorothy Clifford
After a month long stay at St. Paul’s Hospital, Saskatoon, SK., Dorothy passed away peacefully with family at her bedside November 2, 2020 at the age of 89 years. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Neila Schmaltz (Saskatoon, SK.); son, Arnold Clifford (Ripley, ON.); and their families of eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Dorothy’s many friends of Preston Park Retirement Residence and family will remember her generosity, love of family, knitting, sewing & cooking over the years. She was predeceased by her parents; four siblings; husband, Neil; and partner of 14 years, Norman Kanceruk.
Special thanks to Preston Park 1 and all their wonderful staff whose help and compassion care helped make a wonderful home for Dorothy, our mother and grandmother. We also want to thank the doctors and staff of St. Paul’s Hospital for excellent compassionate care they provided during the difficult time for the family as well as time of COVID-19… Thank you!
A graveside Service will be held in Dryden, ON. where Dorothy spent most of her life before moving to Saskatoon sometime next summer.
