McIntosh, Dorothy Irene [Gibson] – It is with sadness our family announces the passing of our loving wife, mother, nanny and dear friend to many, on Wednesday June 24, 2020 at the age of 81 years.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Lennard whom she married in Woodstock, ON on August 8, 1955, her two sons Stephen (Cheryl) and Bradley (Tammy), her four grandchildren Kelly (Zack), Tegan (Randy), Brandan and Ryan as well as her four great-grandchildren Neela, Rowen, Lucy and Riley.
Dorothy was a member of the Temiskaming Shores Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved to share her bible based hope, that God’s Kingdom will restore Paradise to Earth. Her family would like to express their appreciation to all the medical staff and PSW workers who provided not only wonderful care but warm personal compassion during mom’s last weeks. Also greatly appreciated is the support, love and kindness shown by close friends during this difficult time.
Dorothy will be remembered for her smile and sunny disposition. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. John 5; 28,29
In keeping with Mrs McIntosh’s wishes, cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium. As an expression of sympathy, contributions in memory of Mrs McIntosh can be made to the World Wide Work of Jehovah’s Witness (www.jw.org) Condolences and contributions may be left at www.buffamleveille.com.
