Doris Bernice Keddy
1934-2020
Doris “Sis” Bernice Keddy, 86, of Shoreham Village,
Chester and formerly from Tantallon.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved
sister, grandmother and friend, Doris “Sis” Keddy.
She was a daughter of the late Ronald and Jessie Swinimer, Western
Shore.
Sis will be greatly missed by her sister, Marion Hayden; brother,
Robert Swinimer; grandchildren, Tracy Smith (Jeff), Mandy Pierce
(Joe), Shawn Smith (Ellen); great-grandchildren, Jesse (Sophie),
Allison; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Sis is predeceased by her husband, George Keddy; her daughters, Susan
Pierce and Sandy Smith; and sister, Shirley Swinimer.
Sis could make friends with anyone and was adored by so many. George
was the love of her life and she missed him dearly since his passing.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved her
grandchildren dearly and she was so proud of her great-grandchildren.
Sis will be remembered for her warm smile that could light up a room.
A very special thanks to the staff at the Surgical Unit at QEII, 4B
unit at the VG Hospital, Surgical Unit at the SSRH and the staff at
Shoreham.
Memorial donations are requested to be made to Shoreham Village
Foundation, Diabetes Canada or Canadian Cancer Society.
