Arriving in Canada from Sitizano, Reggio Calabria, Italy in 1959, Domenico came to his new life with much ambition. Shortly after, he married the love of his life, Marianna, and was blessed with two loving children, Francesca and Caterina. Domenico was a proud, reliable and hard-working employee for the City of Hamilton for over 27 years. In retirement, Domenico enjoyed gardening where his attention to detail was evident in the abundance of his annual harvest. Wine making was another passion, as well as lively discussion of current political affairs in Canada and Italy, intermingled with stories of his days serving in the Italian army. Lastly, his proudest moments were the ones spent with his wife, children, and beloved grandchildren, Natasha, Patrick, and his boy Dino!
