February 16, 1965 – November 14, 2020
After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Debbie passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family at the age of 55 years old.
Debbie leaves behind her beloved mother Yvonne Gostick, husband Jack, daughter Jessica (Mitchell), niece Morgan Gostick, and sisters-in-law Deanna Hendsbee-Martin (Steven) and Natalie Lacasse (Don and son Joey). She is pre-deceased by her father Murray and her brother Chris.
Thank you to the nurses of St. Elizabeth Health and the Ottawa Hospital Oncology team. Special thanks to nurses Leah, Stephanie, and Christine from St. Elizabeth, Dr. Christine Whetter at the Ottawa General Hospital, and GP Dr. Amina Shamsie for their kindness, commitment and compassion.
Due to the current COVID-19 circumstances, a private family interment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.
