HOPSON, David – It is with heavy hearts that the family of David Hopson of Kintore, announce his passing on Friday, May 29, 2020, in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Heather Hopson (nee Johnson). Loving father of Bryan and his wife Grace, Julie and her husband Andy, Russell and his wife Jenna, and Alana Hopson. Cherished grandpa of Naomi, Laura, Kayla and Evan Hopson, Duncan and Emma Martin, Lucy, Griffin, Sawyer, Vivienne and Lila Hopson, and Mac Rogers. Dear son to Bernice Hopson and brother of Lynda and her husband Dennis Connor. Predeceased by his father Nelson Hopson. David was a loving husband, a supportive father and a caring grandpa. Having recently retired he was looking forward to spending more time with his family. David was the very proud owner of D.N. Hopson Sheet Metal for over 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved spending time fishing and hunting, in particular with his close friends who will always remember him as Hoppy. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at the Kintore Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
