BROOKS, Cornelia “Corrie”
Peacefully passed away, November 11, 2020 at Brantford General Hospital in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband, Harold Brooks, daughter, Ruby Coulter (Dan) and grandson David Todd Passmore. Much loved mother of Donald Brooks and Cindy Bird (John). Grandmother of Chris, Jadyn, Cheri and Brian. Great grandmother of 7 and great, great grandmother of 5, and another due December, 2020. Corrie immigrated to Canada from Bussum, Netherlands after marrying a Canadian soldier in 1946. She very much enjoyed living at Brantwood Villa and sharing many happy events there. She will be missed by many family and friends both in Holland and Canada. Many thanks to the Dr.’s and nursing staff at West Haldimand General Hospital and floors 5 and 7 at Brantford General Hospital for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place. As per her wishes there will be no visitation or service. A private family service will take place at a future date.
