children: David (Penny) of Moncton, Linda Savoie (Donald) of Moncton,

Corena attended Moncton High

from serving overseas in the RCAF during WWII. They raised their
children with a focus on a good education and saw them all attend
university.
Both Lloyd and Corena were
founding members of Mount Royal United Church and Corena was a member
of the UCW for several years.
Corena loved to sew and paint
and won awards for her speeches at Toastmistress. She was a speed

60s.
Corena and Lloyd enjoyed
camping trips to Fundy Park when their children were young and later
to their property in Cavendish, PEI.
After Lloyd’s passing in 1989,
Corena travelled with the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia and visited many
eastern European countries, Madeira and Hawaii, among other
