It is with deep sorrow the family of Cayla Dawn Enslow announce her sudden passing which occurred as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Sunday, July 5, 2020 in Georgetown, PE. She was aged 19 years of Souris, PE.
Dear daughter to Annie Enslow and Thomas Stacey and cherished sister of Joseph and Ted MacIsaac and Colton and Colby Enslow. Special granddaughter to Hilbert Enslow and Helen Stacey. Predeceased by her sister Samantha Enslow, grandmother Anne Marie Enslow, grandfather Tom Stacey and uncle Tim Enslow.
Cayla had a very kind heart, although she hid that well from most, but for those who got to know her, there was a warm, compassionate, loving and fiercely loyal person who would do anything for those she cared about, at whatever cost. Her friends were extremely important to her and many times their concerns would come before her own. Cayla was extremely resilient. She enjoyed music, playing her guitar, writing her own songs; she loved the water and swimming was a real joy for her. Animals were a big part of her life as her dog “Lucky” was her best friend. Cayla had a bright light within her and when she let it shine, her smile would brighten the room.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home with private visiting hours for immediate family only. A funeral mass will take place at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Souris with interment to follow in the church cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Cayla can be made to the PEI Humane Society.
