Obituary
Surrounded by the love and warmth of her family, Carol passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on October 1, 2020, at the age of 83, Loving mother of James, David (Karen), Diane Middleton (Matt), and the late Jane Bahula (Tim), and predeceased by their father Daniel Stecher (2013). Cherished grandma of Lyndsay, Jacob (Elizabeth), Ian Stecher, Jenna Atkins (Chris), Laura Middleton, Andrew, Emily, Kate, Abby, Grace, and Luke Bahula. Dear sister of George Stephenson (Effie) and Barbara Farrar (late Ron). A true friend to many. Carol retired from nursing at Huron Lodge, after returning to school and graduating from St. Clair College at age 50. Carol enjoyed worshiping with the fellowship of believers at Riverside Baptist Church, and was a longstanding member of Campbell Baptist Church. Carol loved being part of the community at CLAS on Southwinds Dr. The family would like to thank the staff at WRH, Ouellette Campus, for the excellent care she received, especially in her final days on the 7th floor. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Avenue, on Sunday October 11, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Reservations are not required to attend visitation. PLEASE NOTE: MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME .On Monday October 12, 2020, a private Memorial Service will be held at Riverside Baptist Church. In memory of Carol, donations may be made to ABWE Canada to support the ministry of Tim Bahula- Horizon Education Network (980 Adelaide St S, London, ON N6E 1R3).
