Obituary of Carmalijta Virgina BALOUN
Our tenderhearted daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, friend, niece and cousin Carmalijta Virginia Baloun passed away unexpectedly on November 27th, 2020. Carmalijta was born in Dawson Creek, British Columbia on September 29th, 1982 to Loreen and Elmer Baloun. Carmalijta grew up in Tumbler Ridge British Columbia, Acapulco Mexico and St. Francois Xavier, Manitoba. After graduating high school she moved to Alberta and eventually made her way to her forever dream home in Victoria BC. Carmalijta was a lover of art, spirituality and nature. She was gentle, vivacious and kind but often introverted. Carmalijta’s fierce and strong nature will be remembered by all who loved her. We will never forget her near perfect beauty, welcoming smile, piercing blue eyes and loving personality. She had a profound spiritual connection with everyone in her life. She loved traveling and seeing different cultures but she was happiest at home in Victoria working as an esthetician. In her spare time she enjoyed making jewellery, hiking, dancing, visiting friends and helping others with their spirituality. Carmalijta was predeceased by her father Elmer Baloun; grandparents Martin Abstreiter, Ruby Baloun, Walter Baloun, Dora Doan and Archie Doan. Carmalijta is survived by her mother Loreen McDonald (Abstreiter), step-father Randy McDonald; her sister Trisha Pulvermacher (Baloun), brother in-law Bradley Pulvermacher, niece Baily Pulvermacher, nephew Wolf Pulvermacher; her brother Michael Baloun and fiance Margaux Clement Cousineau; her brother’s Ray, Grant, Dale Baloun and families; her step brother Michael McDonald; her step sister Stacie (McDonald) and husband Scott Nemis; her grandmother Janice Abstreiter; step-grandmother Mary Emerton; her american family Mark and Michael Doan. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. When you think of Carmalijta, we would love you to celebrate the memories you have had with her. She would want you to remember that life is fragile, short and should be lived to the very fullest.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Carmalijta
