Obituary of Brian Vernon
Brian Earl Vernon, resident of Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia passed away on January 16, 2020 at the age of 72. He was born May 31, 1949 in Bolton, England and immigrated to Canada in 1969 when he was 19 years of age.
Brian worked as an electrician most of his working years, and ran his own company Brian†™s Electric Inc. When he and Lucie moved to Tumbler Ridge in 1995, Brian worked at the Bull Moose and Wolverine Mines.
He was a friendly and thoughtful person, always willing to help anyone that might need it, and did so with a smile. He will be fondly remembered by his spouse of 35 years, Lucie Mantla, his mother Joyce, sister Julie (Bob), and nieces Tessa and Stephanie.
At Brian†™s request, no service will be held. Lucie would like to thank everyone from the bottom of her heart who helped them during Brian†™s illness and death. She also expresses a special thank you to The Lion†™s Club members, Forever Young Society, Julie Macintosh, and Patrick Kearns.
