Obituary of Bob Davis
Davis: Robert ‘Bob’ Douglas –
A resident of Ridgetown, Bob Davis passed away peacefully with family at his side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on January 30, 2020 at the age of 85.
Born in London, Bob was the son of the late Edward and Cathleen (Lindsay) Davis.
Beloved husband and best friend of 65 years to Geraldine ‘Gerrie’ (Walker).
Loving father to Dean Davis (Susan Richmond) of Ridgetown, Lynn Davis of Toronto, and Marty Davis of Airdrie Alberta.
Grandfather to 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by brother Dr. Ron Davis and sister Kathleen Davis.
Brother in law to Colleen Davis of New Jersey, Norma (late Jim) Barr, Sheila (late Lawrence) Stafford, Phyllis (Harry) Mennell, Helen (late Len) Johnston, Carol (late Don) Hawkins and Judy Walker all of London.
Predeceased by brother in laws Bill Walker, Alan ‘Tub’ (Doloris) Walker, and David Walker.
Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will take place at the Ridgetown Legion,75 Main St. E., on Saturday February 15, 2020 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
A private family interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery at a future date.
Donations made in memory of Bob to the CNIB (Canadian National Institute of the Blind) would be appreciated.
