Obituary
It is with much sadness that we announce the sudden passing of William « Bill » Elliott on May 16, 2020, at his home.
Bill was born in Exeter, Ontario and raised in the surrounding area. He moved out west as a young adult, eventually meeting his wife and starting a family, then moving to Alberta and starting their own roof consulting business.
Bill loved the outdoors and was happiest when he was hunting, outback honing his shooting skills or going on back road drives with his faithful companion Dixie dog. He cherished the chance to fulfill his kid’s special request and every desire. Bill was a hard-working man who enjoyed helping others and would give the shirt off of his back for anyone who needed it, especially his family and friends. He would always find time to share stories. His family was never far from his thoughts and loved bringing home treats and trinkets for his kids from every road trip.
Bill was predeceased by his beloved uncle Ross Elliott and his grandparents.
He leaves behind his wife Cindy; his daughters Katrina and Alyssa and son Jake. He will be sadly missed by his father John, his mother Dianne and stepfather Harry Cook; his Brother Gary; and Grandmother Marion Elliott. Along with several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
A public visitation will be held at Snodgrass Funeral Homes Ltd., 200 Woodgate Road, Okotoks, Alberta, on May 24, 2020, from 12:00 pm- 2:00 pm if you wish to pay your respects and offer your condolences to the family.
In lieu of flowers, please pull up your chair around a fire, raise a glass to Bill and recount some of your cherished memories of this amazing man.
