Family and friends will be saddened to know that Beverley Anne Haukenfrers (nee Fletcher) passed away Sunday, October 18th, 2020, at the age of 80. She was lovingly and happily married to Manfred Haukenfrers for 54 years. Her four sons Derek of Toronto, Ontario, David (Aida) of Cambridge, Ontario, Dirk (Julie) of Ottawa, Ontario, and Dale of Burnaby, British Columbia will greatly miss her ongoing kindness and love. She was a proud Oma to Caleb and Benjamin both of Ottawa, Ontario.
She is survived by her brothers Norman, Sam, & Bob Fletcher.
She was devoted to her Christian faith that shaped her life and those around her. This faith expressed in the gospel of John chapter 14 brings comfort to family and friends at this time.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Elizabeth Centre for their wonderful & compassionate care of Beverley these past 2 years.
A funeral service will be held Friday, October 23st, 2020 at 11:00 am at Lougheed Funeral Home Hanmer/Capreol 4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer. Friends may gather at the funeral home Friday after 10:30 am. Private interment in Valley East Cemetery.
Due to COVID-19 Pandemic directives, 50 people or fewer are permitted in the visitation room, and 50 or fewer in the chapel. Face masks are mandatory.
