Betty Jane Piper
1951-2020
The death of Betty Jane Piper of Minto, NB occurred Monday, March 23,
2020 at the W. G. Bishop Nursing Home.
Born in Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary
(Agnew) Shirley.
Survived by a son, John Shirley; daughters, Laura Shirley (Russell)
and Ann Marie Dunphy (Matt); grandchildren, Darby, Riley, Cora-Lee and
Mary-Betty; sisters, Eliza Aiken (Ron), Isabel Barratt and Jessie
Vienneau; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by husband, Alan
Piper; brothers, Kenneth, Mansfield, Robert; 2 infant brothers, Allan
and Thomas; sisters, Elva Verney, Rita Agnew, Margaret (Peggy)
Hunziker, Dorothy England, Kay Lunney-Thurrott and Grace Delorey.
A graveside service in Saint Michael & All Angels Anglican
Cemetery will take place at a later date. For those who wish,
donations made to the Minto Resource Center or Alzheimer Society of
New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family.
