At Hallowell House on Saturday January 25, 2020, Bernadine Ackerman (nee Henderson) passed away at the age of 87.
Beloved wife of the late Garnet Ackerman and much loved mother of Denis and his wife Nancy of Belleville, Linda and her husband Terry Mitchell of Glenora Rd. and Bonnie and her husband Harry Ostrander of Picton. Cherished grandmother of Sarah, Braden, Wesley, Craig, Paige and great-grandmother of Jacob, Zachary and Terra. Dear sister of Gayla Tishbine and the late Joyce Leslie, sister-in-law of Harvey (Lena) Ackerman and aunt of Kirk, Kris, Rodney, Kevin, Jacob, Zachary and Terra.
A graveside service will be held in Cherry Valley Cemetery in the spring.
Memorial donations to Picton United Church or Hallowell House Resident’s Council would be appreciated by the family.
