It is with great sadness that the family of Marc Benchimol announces his passing on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at the age of 82.
Marc will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Etel and his children, Evelyn (Michael) and Alberto (Françoise). He will also be fondly remembered by his six grandchildren: Danica, Marc, Tristan, Diego, Nikita and James. His older brother Hillel, nephews Joe & Isaac, cousin Raquel and other family members will also miss him dearly.
He marked the lives of many and will be sorely missed. He is being honoured in Elda, Spain, his second home, with flags flying at half mast this week.
A celebration of his life will be planned at a later date when we can gather and party as he would’ve liked. In the meantime, it is simply asked that you raise a glass and make a toast in his memory.
