Obituary
Barry Wilfred Adams, age 74, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020 in Ponoka after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Judy Adams; his daughters Gloria Adams, Roxanne Peterson, Kim Emblau, and Anita Emblau (Gary MacLean); his grandchildren Devin Peterson, Owen Emblau (Jacob Holloway), Garet MacLean, and Eric MacLean; his brother-in-law Dale Lillemo (Rhonda); his sisters-in-law Doreen Siemens (Jerry) and Linda Hauck; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Barry was predeceased by his mother and father Vera and Wilfred “Bip” Adams.
Barry was a loving man who will be remembered for his many kindnesses, his stubbornness, his ingenuity, and his willingness to help anyone in need of anything: be it building, fixing or just a hug and advice. We are very grateful to have had him in our family and will miss him greatly.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Barry’s name may be made to the
Alberta Cancer Foundation (Cross Cancer Institute)
or the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Ponoka at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. Due to the current restrictions on public gatherings, no refreshments will be served.
