Avrum Nadler
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Avrum Riven Nadler on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the age of 81 at the Jewish General Hospital.
Avrum is remembered by his beloved wife and best friend of 51 years Anna Nadler, daughter Sheryl Nadler and his daughter and son-in-law Wendy Nadler and Mark Edelstein. Cherished Papa of Megan and Evan Edelstein, brother and sister-in-law Paul and Eva Nadler, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Reva and Seymour Samberg, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins across Canada, the United States and Israel. Avrum was the son of the late Rose long and the late Ben Nadler.
Avrum had a huge personality whose razor-sharp wit and fearlessness in the face of even the most daunting challenges guided his relationships, his businesses and his approach to all aspects of life. Avrum was fiercely protective of his family and friends with whom he loved nothing better than getting together to share stories, memories and a lot of laughter. Avrum’s passion for competition drove his entrepreneurial spirit which resulted in him leading businesses in the clothing manufacturing industry over the course of five decades. He will be remembered for his robust sense of humour, his zest for life and his courage, especially over the last few difficult years.
