Obituary for Audrey Marina Gear
November 28, 1957 – October 24, 2020
We are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Audrey Gear on Saturday, October 24, 2020. Audrey passed away at home in Grande Prairie, Alberta at the age of 62 years.
She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend to many people.
Audrey was born to parents Blanche and Ted Gear on November 28, 1957 in Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador. She spent her childhood in Labrador before finding her home in Alberta. She worked several jobs throughout the province and could be found feeding a hungry crew, which she greatly enjoyed. She loved to bake, grow flowers, and was very proud of her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother Blanche Gear, brother Tim Gear, daughter Corrine Gear and her four children Kiera, Brandon, Kaitlyn and Kayla, daughter April (Jerry) Conway and their two children Jerry and Lilly-Ann Conway. She will be lovingly remembered by her partner of over 20 years, Lawrence Bodnar.
Audrey has many people that will miss her every day.
