It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear, sweet mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Anne Gosse, in her 92nd year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas, cherished son Glen, parents Patrick and Catherine (Pine) Griffin, and brothers Mike and Jack Griffin.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her devoted children Wayne, Brenda (Bill Hickey-deceased), Gerard (Laverne Gallant), and Madonna (Bill Windsor); grandchildren, whom she adored, Jennifer (Ron Vaters), Michael Hickey (Carly), Glen Gosse (Sonya), Lauren Windsor, Julia Windsor (Jeff LeBlanc) and Christopher Gallant (Krista); treasured great-grandchildren Zachary and Victoria Vaters, William Hickey, Nora and Leah Gosse, Kaylee and Cameron Gallant; adored sister Mary (Bill Kennedy-deceased); beloved sisters-in-law Magdalene Griffin and Josephine (Tony) Guanci; special niece Anne Marie Lewis; special nephews John Kennedy, Ron Griffin, Michael Griffin, Paul Griffin, and John Griffin; much loved nieces and nephews of the Gosse family and many dear friends.
Special thanks to the staff of Heritage Square Retirement Home, St. Patrick’s Mercy Home and Health Sciences Centre.
Anne will always be remembered as a kind and gentle woman, with a deep love of family. She was always thinking of others, right until the very end. She will be profoundly missed.
She was our angel on earth.
A private funeral will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Torbay.
