Obituary
Peacefully at her home on Friday September 25, 2020. Ann passed away at the age of 78 years with family at her side. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Romeo Cousineau of 54 years and her children Elizabeth Belous (Adrian Settle), Gary Gregoire (Patricia), Jeanne Summers (Randy), Cheryl Barrett (Jeff) and grandchildren, Krystal, Andrea, Spencer, Nita, Valerie, Sabrina and Aiden as well as many relatives, sister in-laws, brother in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends of the family. Ann worked at Canadian Boart Longyear for many years until her retirement. She was a devoted member of the Catholic Women’s League (C.W.L.) for 35 years and did serve a President with this organization, she was also a member of the Church Choir and loved to sing with them. She and husband Romeo were devoted parishioners of at St. Peters the Apostle Church. She had a strong passion for spending leisure time at the cottage with her Rib lake family. She loved to garden, do canning, baking, knitting, crocheting, photography, and many other crafts. Another one of her passions was for animals, she was also surrounded with cats and dogs and they were usually from a Rescue organization. She loved bird watching with hummingbirds being her favourite and wildlife. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Bay Humane Society/ Pet Rescue, the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of your choice. The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Saturday October 3, 2020 for a memorial visitation from 11am to12:30 pm, with a short service to follow officiated by Allan Lamothe at 12:30 pm A private internment will take place at a later date with family only.
