Obituary of Alexander Gunn
Alexander Judson Gunn
Passed away peacefully on Friday, August 14, 2020 at the Owen Sound Hospital after a brief illness.
Predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years Phyllis Gunn, his sister Leona Wilson and his brother Don Johnson. Alex was the father of his son Allan (Cathy Gunn), and daughters Marilyn (Brad Juniper), Jean (Bob Steffler), Kathy (LeRoy Misner), Donna (Gary Laughlin), and Barbara (Mike Stephens). He was a loving grandfather to eleven grandchildren, Ryan and Adam Gunn; David Juniper; Amanda and Robert Steffler; Kevin Keeling; Katie Coombs, Nathan Laughlin; Justin, Travis and Devin Stephens; and 3 great granddaughters. He was a loving uncle to Linda Morrison and Marie Thompson.
Alex is resting at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home. Due to COVID restrictions a private family service was celebrated on Tuesday, August 18, 2020.
The Gunn family would like to thank all the staff of Summit Place for their kindness and care Alex received during his residency at the lodge. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Summit Place, as an expression of sympathy.
