Obituary of Yvon Raymond Boucher
BOUCHER, Yvon Raymond
Passed away peacefully, with family by his side on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Elisabeth. Loving father of Nicole, Dan (Lucie) and Lynne (Terry). Proud grandpapa to Nicholas, Bailey, Anne-Marie, Reilly and David. Cherished brother of Marielle, Jacques, Jacqueline, Marie-Claire and Jean-Guy. Yvon will be fondly remembered for his sense of humour by his nieces and nephews. He’ll also be missed by his best friend Rusty.
Yvon retired from Ferranti Packard after 30 years of service. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially going fishing and hunting with his siblings. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus (Immaculée Conception). Yvon will be remembered by all for his sense of humour and for his love of family.
Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, December 11 from 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Yvon’s life will be held on Thursday, December 12 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home ceremony room. Cremation will follow the service. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara or Wellspring Niagara.
