Death notice
Roland Schell passed away peacefully with family by his side on December 1st, 2019 in his 85th year.
Beloved husband of the late Pansy (nee Campbell). Cherished father of Peter (Faith), Stephen (predeceased), Christine Zurawski and Catherine Millward (Mike). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Elizabeth Lacroix (Chris), Abigail Crowe (J.D.), Jessica Reid (Kyle) and Nicholas Millward (Courtney). Roland’s Great Grandchildren, Hudson and Isla Crowe, Emma, Jack and little baby Reid (who has not yet arrived) who will grow up hearing stories about their great grandfather. Brother to Marie Walker and his late siblings Olga Campbell, Margaret Scott, Freddie Appleton, and Alvin Schell. Special Friend of Shirley Mae Royce and Friend of so many.
The family would like to thank the Cancer Centre at the Royal Victoria Hospital, South Muskoka Regional Hospital and the Hospice in Barrie for the excellent care and compassion that Roland received.
A celebration of Roland’s life will be held December 21st, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Muskoka Steamship and Discovery Centre (Grace and Speed)
