Our beloved wife, mom and grandma passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Arbour Creek Long Term Care Facility, on Saturday December 14, 2019, in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Mike Gennaccaro for 48 years. Loving mother of Connie and Anthony Ventura, Josie and Rob Da Maia. Dear grandmother of Anthony Jr. and Lucus Ventura. Predeceased by her parents, she will be sadly missed by her sister’s Maria and Cosmo Carchidi ,Teresa the late Tony Vento. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Angelo and Felicia Gennaccaro, Sara and Ross Perri, Rose and Nick Restagno and Maria and Tony Fricano, she will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A very heartfelt thank you to the nursing staff and PSW’s at Arbour Creek for their care and compassion. Raffaela was a strong independent women who came to Canada from Italy in the early 1970’s. She built a beautiful life and family, she was happiest when family, friends and neighbors gathered at her home. Espresso always on the ready and to share food and stories, with much laughter. Our mom and dad’s love for each other was beautiful to see and truly an example of unconditional love and commitment. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL on Tuesday, from 3-5 & 6-9 p.m. with Vigil prayers at 8:45 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
Forever in our hearts and always in our prayers.
