Margaret “Margie” Helen Elizabeth Richardson, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday, December 6, 2019 at the age of 61, surrounded by her family.
Born in Oshawa, Ontario, Margie is the daughter of Eileen and the late Raymond Richardson of Craigville, N.B.
She is survived by her husband, Gerard “Gerry” Doyle, son Ryan, and daughter Laura, all of Craigville; sisters: Cynthia MacDonald (Darrell) of Chatham, Tammy Sullivan (James) of Nelson, Kathy Richardson (Larry) of Chatham, Valerie Richardson of Truro, N.S, Allison MacKenzie (Terry) of Napan, Kelly Hachey (Robert) of Napan, Nancy Knowles (James) of Chatham; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
Margie retired from working at Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home after 35 years of service. She enjoyed playing many sports, travelling, and volunteering for many organizations including, The Nelson Doyle Dancers, Saint Patrick’s Church, Remembering Nelson Fair, Heritage Fair, and many more.
Margie is always cheerful, positive and willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. She is a kind, loving, and caring wife, mother, daughter, aunt and friend to so many. Her infectious laugh and welcoming nature puts everyone she meets at ease. Her kindness spreads far beyond Miramichi, her many friends here, in Ireland and wherever she travels.
Margie will be resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, Sunday evening, December 8, 2019 from 7-9pm, and Monday, December 9, 2019, from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at 11:00am at Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church with Fr Anthony officiating. As expressions of sympathy, Margie’s wishes are that donations be made to Saint Patrick’s Steeple fund or the Nelson Doyle Dancers.
