Lester Augustine
1962-2019
ELSIPOGTOG, NB – Lester Augustine 57, of Elsipogtog
passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center in
Moncton on Thursday, December 19, 2019, after a brief
illness.
Born in Rexton, he was the son of the late Norman Augustine
and late Mary Margaret (Simon) Augustine.
Lester will be sadly missed by his two sisters, Christine
Augustine (late Raymond) of Elsipogtog, Bernice Augustine (late
Chester) of Eskasoni; two brothers, Preston Augustine, Perley
Augustine both of Elsipogtog and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters,
Ethel, Della and four brothers, Merlin, Brian, Arvil and
Dana.
Visitation will be held at his home, 33 Levi Street,
Elsipogtog beginning on Saturday at 12:30 until time of the
funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on
Monday, December 23, 2019 at 10:30 am, St. Anne’s Roman
Catholic Church, Elsipogtog. Arrangements are in care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
