Obituary
The family of James MacLeod are deeply saddened to announce his passing which occurred at his residence on Sunday, December 8, 2019. Born in Stirling, Scotland, October 18, 1956 he was the son of the late James and Mary Ann (Jennings) MacLeod.
James was employed as a Power Plant Operator spending 40+ dedicated years with NB Power. Although he took pride in his work, his main priority was making sure that his family was looked after, they were always his focus. A talented cook and an avid Montreal Canadiens fan, James also coached many of the sports team that his children were apart of and spent many years travelling around the world with his family.
James is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Barbara (Henderson) and their children Adam (Amanda) MacLeod and Matthew MacLeod. He will also be remembered by his 6 grandsons; James, Landon, Owen, Elijah, Emmit and Gabriel.
In addition to his parents, James is predeceased by his sister in-law Diane Jones.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, December 12, 2019 between the hours of 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Fundy Funeral Home. Celebration of Jame’s life will be held on Friday, December 13th at 2:00 PM from the Fundy Chapel.
Memorial donations towards the Saint John Food Bank would be appreciated.
